Your eyes are not deceiving you - This house constructed in the northern German Island of Usedom has been built entirely upside down, with the roof at the bottom and the foundation at the top. The icing on the cake? - Even the fittings and furniture inside the house have been tacked upside down!
The house was designed and built by two Polishmen, Klausdiusz Golos and Sebastian Mikiciuk, who said they wanted to build something really unique, and were inspired by similar houses in the USA and Spain. However, this is the first house where even interior is upside down.
The two partners said it was a very difficult and expensive house to build and though it is big enough for people to live in, they didn't really expect anybody to do so. They opened the doors of the house for to visitors about two weeks ago, and so far over 100 people have been to see it. Most of them walked out of the house feeling a little disoriented from the experience.
The two have not said what they intend to do with the house in the future - maybe it will become part of a modern museum.
