Italian artist Mario Mariotti has been dead for over a decade now, but the unusual pieces of art he created still amazes people, both young and old. Unlike other artists, Mario did not use any expensive canvas for his creations - just some paint, a little imagination and some hands or feet.
He then photographed each one of them and over the years the photographs have become works of art. While alive, he published several books with photos of his creations, including 'Hanimations', which has become a favorite with kids of all ages since it was published in 1989.
Mario Mariotti's work became so popular that he inspired a whole new art genre (category) called 'Animani' and his work was even featured in an AT&T commercial.
We hope you are as fascinated by his work as we are. Be sure to let us know by adding your comments below.
