From December 1-9, people of Jewish faith all around the world celebrated Hanukkah - The Festival of lights. The festival, which commemorates the victories of ancient Jewish heroes is a fun-filled event, where families get together to eat delicious and play traditional games.

For some kids it is like having eight days of Christmas, since they receive a gift every night. Like most religious festivals this one too is based on the triumph of good over evil - the details of which are depicted really well in the video below.
