The World From The Eyes Of A Three-Year Old!

Ever wonder what the world looks like from the eyes of a pint-sized toddler? Then you need to visit Moshi Moshi, a Japanese restaurant in San Francisco, California and check out their latest exhibition of pictures, shot entirely by three-year old Ruby Ellenby.

Ruby's photography 'career' began with a simple, 'mum can I see your camera' request. Before her parents realized what was happening, she had started taking amazing pictures, of whatever was on eye-level or below, her tiny frame. While the pictures were quite random, ranging from an autumn leaf on the ground to the tips of her ballet shoes, her parents, both photographers, realized that the three-year old had a unique eye, way beyond her young age

And, it wasn't just a case of proud doting parents either. The proprietor of their favorite local restaurant, also recognized the young girl's talent, and requested to hold a special exhibition, featuring only her photos

On March 24th, within a few hours of the exhibition opening, the young toddler had sold 14 of the 22 prints displayed at $40USD apiece and, her work impressed the owner of San Francisco's Collage Gallery enough, to request a few prints to sell at the gallery.

The toddler, who says taking pictures makes her feel like a princess, has mastered the use of three cameras - her own Vtech kid's camera, a Nikon Coolpix and the camera on her parent's iPhone. Not only that, she also knows how to use two iPhone applications -Toy Camera and Camera Bag, and can clearly articulate, why she prefers the latter (she can change photo colors).

While Ruby loves taking photos, she doesn't do it all the time. Just like any temperamental artist, the precarious three-year-old, clicks only when she's in the mood for it!
