Some of the World's best sportsmen and women recently came together on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura, to battle it out for the 2010 World Kiteboarding Championships.
The athletes competed in a number of different events including Freestyle and Wave Riding, in some of the most ideal wind and ocean current conditions in the world.
Kiteboarding, which combines elements of surfing, windsurfing and wakeboarding, is a fairly new extreme sport - one that is starting to gain popularity amongst youngsters all over the world, especially Europe.
