Dutch design firm HIK Designers has given train commuters in Utrecht, Holland something to look forward to as they head to work every morning - A transfer accelerator AKA a super fun slide!

Besides being fun, the 'Transferversneller’, which has been placed right alongside the conventional stairs allows commuters to zip down in a jiffy, ensuring that they do not miss their train. And, if that is not enough, at night the slide also entertains its users with classical music as they zip down. Hopefully, train stations in other parts of the world will get with the program and follow suit.

Why did they put the bottom of the slide on the floor? If it was raised off the floor, it would be easier to stand up once you get to the bottom.
