Miley Cyrus A.K.A Hannah Montana dominates The 2009 Teen Choice Awards

The Gibson Amphitheater at Universal Studios in Los Angeles was buzzing with excitement on Sunday afternoon as hundreds of fans cheered the winners of the 11th Teen Choice Awards, which honor the biggest achievements in movies, television, music and many other categories.

The event was hosted by the Jonas Brothers who kept the audience enthralled by taking up fan 'dares' - Joe accepted a dare to have his hair shaved off on stage. But even he was a little startled, when he saw former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, storming up the stage with shears, to cut off his unruly locks.

Kevin agreed to get himself tattooed with the image of the winner of the next award category - which turned out to be none other than Wolverine star, Hugh Jackman. Nick's dare was to hug as many fans as he could in 20 seconds - and he did a pretty good job! The trio also went home with five surfboards (awards), including one for best 'breakout' television show - 'Jonas'.

The evening however belonged to Miley Cyrus, who took home six surfboards, including one for her hit single 'The Climb', as well as, several for her television show and movie 'Hannah Montana'. To the delight of her fans, Cyrus also performed her new single, 'Party in the USA'.

In the overall movie category, 'Twilight' was the big star, winning 11 of the 12 awards it was nominated for, including best actor, best actress, villain, best fight and best soundtrack.

The winners are selected by teens all over the world and this year 83 million fans voted on-line, to help their favorite stars and movies win. All in all, the star-studded event which also included Zac Efron and the entire High School Musical cast, as well as, live performances by Black Eyed Peas, Sean Kingston and the Jonas Brothers, was great fun for the entire family!
