First there was Paul the Octopus seer who correctly predicted the outcome of not only all of Germany's World Cup games, but also, Spain's spectacular victory. While Paul has since passed on, there is a new animal psychic that is making waves or should we say Baaaa's, with his predictions of the Rugby World Cup that is currently being played in New Zealand.

Three-year old Wellington-based Sonny Wool, has been successfully predicting rainfalls since he was a little lamb. Hence, when the Rugby World Cup began on September 9th, his owner Dan Boyd, decided to test if the sheep could foresee more important outcomes.

To enable the sheep seer to make his predictions, Dan sets up two boxes of hay - one with the New Zealand flag, the other with the flag of the opposing team. Whichever box Sonny picks to eat from, is declared the winner. So far, Sonny's predictions have been completely accurate - New Zealand has won both the games just as he had indicated. As to whether Sonny is really psychic or simply pulling wool over everyone's eyes, is something only time will tell.
