After foul weather kept a group of chimpanzees cooped up inside their cages for many days, the workers at United Kingdom's Whipsnade Zoo decided to give them a special treat and what better time to do it than around Valentine's Day?

So, on February 13th, they filled a number of heart-shaped boxes with yummy treats and let the chimps loose to seek them out. Unfortunately, some did not quite seem to understand the spirit of Valentine's and decided to grab more than their share, leaving others feeling no love on this special day! Hopefully, your Valentine's Day experience was a little better!

                this is cute. they got to do something the day before valentines day for valentines day.. they probably didn't understand why they were giving the heart shaped boxes and what they were for , so some of them probably did take more than what they were giving just to play with the boxes ..
