Well, those people that did wrong, aren't alive anymore.

well Christopher Columbus really never did anything wrong.he was going to India and accidentally ended up in America.He went back to England or whatever and left people in America.Those people that he left did the wrong thing and made the Natives slaves,not Christopher Columbus.So people should stop saying it was his fault.

i think they should continue to celebrate Columbus day because he was the first on to discover America for the new world, even though the Indians where already here they had not yet been discovered by Europe and other countries.

It would make sense for it to be indigenous peoples day, since for one: We don't get any days at all, the natives aren't recognized, like, ever. Then, Columbus was a bad person, and I don't think we need too be celebrating someone who killed so many people just for profit. -Sincerely, a native American friend.
