I don't think that the orcas in the wild would be able to learn to pick up human words as easily as Wikie because Wikie has spent her whole almost her whole life with humans. The article states that "Wikie, who has spent most of her life at the aquatic park, is accustomed to mimicking her trainer’s actions in exchange for fish, and was, therefore, the perfect candidate for the job." This shows that Wike has spent almost her whole life with her trainer and surrounded by humans therefore, she probably picked up on the words. On the other hand, the wild animals never or rarely get to listen to humans speak which shows that they're not used to the language and will not learn as quickly as Wikie.
