Why such a low rating? This book is so underrated! People just didn't like it that much because there wasn't a Hunger Games in it, and it had a dark ending. Sorry that you find people slaughtering each other in a vast/ inescapable outdoor arena is more entertaining, than about war, rebellion, and the character's fate.
Sorry it didn't get the magical fairytale ending you hoped to, but that's what happens in war.. people die! This book was based on war, so yeah, A LOT of people died. Just be glad your OTP Katniss & Peeta ended up together.Almost 13 years agosj72562 wants to read this book.
